January-May economic activity index grows 5,7%

The January-May economic activity index in Armenia grew 5,7% compared to the same period of last year, according to official data published by the Statistical Committee.

Below is the YoY data for January-May. 

Industrial production output dropped 14,1%, amounting to over 1,03 trillion drams. 

Construction grew 17,1%, amounting to 165,4 billion drams. 

Trade turnover grew 4,2%, amounting to 2,4 trillion drams.

Services grew 10,1%, amounting to 1,4 trillion drams. 

The consumer price index grew 3%.

The industrial product price index grew 2,1%.

Electricity production increased 0,6%.
