Armenian-Azeri peace process, normalization with Türkiye discussed at Pashinyan-Erdogan meeting

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Istanbul on June 20.
PM Pashinyan and President Erdogan discussed the Armenia-Türkiye normalization process and emphasized the importance of sustained constructive dialogue and achieving concrete results, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout.
They also discussed regional developments and explored possible directions for bilateral cooperation in this context.
Prime Minister Pashinyan reaffirmed Armenia’s commitment to the process of ensuring peace and stability in the region and stressed his commitment to continue the policy of normalizing relations with neighbors.
Both leaders reiterated their readiness to maintain direct contacts and dialogue. They exchanged views around the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project.
