SPIEF 2025: Armenian Deputy PM touts unlimited potential to increase trade turnover

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan participated in the 2025 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). In his remarks, Grigoryan underscored the current state of Armenian–Russian trade relations and the outlook ahead. He noted that the figures demonstrate a clear “institutional interconnectivity” in trade between Armenia and Russia.

He also emphasized that Armenian producers are capable of manufacturing competitive goods that meet Russian consumer demand. According to Grigoryan, both countries should prioritize enhancements in logistics and consolidation to expand export volumes. He advocated for the development of logistical centers and consolidation systems and stressed the importance of ensuring uninterrupted supply chains.

Grigoryan concluded that the country has “unlimited” desire and the potential to significantly increase bilateral trade turnover.
