Armenian FM holds phone call with Finnish counterpart

Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan spoke by phone with Foreign Minister of Finland and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Elina Valtonen to discuss matters related to Armenia-OSCE cooperation, the foreign ministry has said.

Mirzoyan and Valtonen exchanged views on regional issues.

Minister Mirzoyan presented recent discussions in the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including efforts aimed at signing of the Peace Treaty, the foreign ministry said in a readout.

The bilateral partnership agenda between Armenia and Finland, as well as planned engagements, including those following the Armenian Foreign Minister’s visit to Helsinki in November 2024 were touched upon.
