Russia ready to mediate between Iran and Israel, says Kremlin

Russia is ready to mediate a settlement in the Iranian-Israeli conflict, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said, according to the TASS state news agency.

Peskov told reporters that President Vladimir Putin has held talks with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and US President Donald Trump during the recent days.

“Russia is still ready to provide its mediation services if needed,” Peskov said.

He said Russia remains in contact with Iranian and Israeli officials.
