The death toll in the apartment explosion in the Armenian town of Chambarak in Gegharkunik province has risen to 3, authorities said.
The Rescue Service said the gas explosion in the third-floor apartment caused a structural collapse. The 4th, 3rd and 2nd floor apartments collapsed.
Rescuers have pulled a body from the rubble.
The deadly gas blast in the small town took place in an apartment building at Tigran Mets Street, not Garegin Nzhdeh Street as reported initially.
Health authorities earlier said 9 people were hospitalized.
