Russia’s top senator visits Armenian Genocide memorial in Yerevan

Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matviyenko visited on June 6 the Armenian Genocide memorial in Yerevan.

Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Alen Simonyan accompanied the Russian official during the visit.

Matviyenko placed a wreath at the memorial and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame.

Valentina Matviyenko has arrived in Armenia on an official visit.
