Armenia transferred $323 million to the general customs budget of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in 2024, receiving $189 million in return, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan said during a joint session of the National Assembly standing committees while presenting the annual report on the implementation of the 2024 state budget.
“We transferred $323 million to the EAEU general budget and received $189 million back. That is, we contribute more in customs duties to the EAEU than we receive. The negative saldo is $135 million,” the minister said.
