French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide during his official visit to Armenia.
He was accompanied by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies.
The ministers laid a wreath and flowers at the memorial.
The French Foreign Minister arrived in Armenia on an official visit on May 26.
As part of the visit, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and France held a private meeting, followed by a joint press conference. Three bilateral documents were signed between Armenia and France during the visit.
