French Foreign Minister highlights defense cooperation with Armenia

During a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot highlighted the cooperation between Armenia and France in the defense sector.

“It is important to emphasize the cooperation between our two countries in the field of defense, whether it concerns personnel training or the provision of weapons. The goal of all this is to enable Armenia to ensure its defense and sovereignty,” he stated.

The French Foreign Minister also reaffirmed France’s support for Armenia’s democracy in the face of destabilizing threats, stressing that France aims to assist Armenia in strengthening its democratic model.
