Iran reiterates support for Armenia’s territorial integrity

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan has met with Iranian Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh. 

Secretary Grigoryan welcomed the Iranian defense minister’s visit to Armenia and attached importance to the intensified bilateral mutual visits which contribute to the continuous development and strengthening of the friendly ties between the two countries, Grigoryan’s office said in a readout. 

Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh thanked for the warm reception and underscored the development trend in the bilateral relationship. The defense minister reiterated Iran’s support for Armenia’s territorial integrity and independence of the countries in the region, opposing any changes to internationally recognized borders.
