Defense Minister Papikyan, Iranian counterpart Nasirzadeh commend Armenia-Iran defense cooperation

On May 20, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, held a tête-à-tête meeting with the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of the IRI, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh.
The meeting was followed by a meeting involving the extended delegations, the Armenian Defense Ministry has said in a statement.
The ministers highly commended the level of cooperation between Armenia and Iran in the defense sector.
Issues related to the course of cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran were discussed.
The interlocutors also addressed a number of issues related to regional and international security.
