Russian Foreign Minister to visit Armenia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Armenia on May 20-21, the Russian Foreign Ministry has said.
In a press release, the ministry said FM Lavrov is expected to meet with President Vahagn Khachaturyan, PM Nikol Pashinyan and FM Ararat Mirzoyan.
It added that the agenda will include bilateral cooperation, partnership within the framework of Eurasian integration unions, as well as aligning stances in international platforms, mainly the UN.
“The foreign ministers will exchange views around regional security issues, including prospects of the Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish normalization processes,” the Russian foreign ministry said.
“In accordance with the tradition, flowers will be laid at the Eternal Flame of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and a wreath will be placed at the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide," the Russian ministry added.
