Armenian PM to meet EU top diplomat

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas said Friday that she would meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the 6th European Political Community Summit in Albania.
She added that she would visit Armenia soon.
“I was in Azerbaijan," she said, referring to her recent trip to Baku, "...and I will meet Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan here,” she told reporters in Tirana, Albania, where the European Political Community Summit is taking place. Kallas did not mention timeframes of her upcoming trip to Armenia.
She expressed hope that the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement will be signed soon.
“Azerbaijan and Armenia are very close to reaching an agreement. I think it is in everyone’s interests for them to sign that agreement, which will result in one less conflict,” the EU top diplomat said.
