Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday discussed the course of the talks between Iran and the United States with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the Kremlin said.
“An exchange of views took place around international and regional matters, including the course of the Oman-mediated talks between Iran and the US around the Iranian nuclear program,” the Kremlin said in a readout.
Putin expressed readiness to contribute to advancing the dialogue to achieve a fair agreement based on principles of international law, it added.
The parties also discussed the bilateral Russian-Iranian cooperation and development of ties based on the strategic partnership deal signed in January.
