Armenian parliamentary delegation headed by Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan visits Stockholm

On April 28-29, within the framework of the Programme for Democratic Cooperation Development between the National Assembly and the Riksdag of the Kingdom of Sweden, the delegation, comprised of the Chair of the Armenian National Assembly Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan, the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Sweden Parliamentary Friendship Group Hripsime Grigoryan, the RA NA deputies Lusine Badalyan and Garnik Danielyan, led by the Vice President of the RA National Assembly, the Head of the Programme for Democratic Cooperation Development between the RA National Assembly and the Riksdag of the Kingdom of Sweden Ruben Rubinyan is in Stockholm, the Parliament’s office has said in a readout.

On behalf of Sweden the Head of the Working Group is the Third Deputy Speaker of the Riksdag of Sweden Kerstin Lundgren.

The aim of the programme is to strengthen the democratic institutes and spread democratic values. The core of cooperation is the exchange of experience between the parliamentarians, the activation of contacts and the development of inter-parliamentary relations.
