An Armenian Genocide commemoration ceremony took place in Paris, in Armenian Esplanade (Esplanade d'Arménie), with participation of French PM François Bayrou.
In memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, PM Bayrou, former PM Gabriel Attal, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, Armenian Ambassador to France Arman Khachatryan, the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations in France executives, lawmakers and many others laid wreaths at the Komitas statue. A wreath was placed on behalf of President of the Senate Gérard Larcher.
Bayrou, among others, delivered remarks.
Many government officials were in attendance.
