Karekin II commemorates Armenian Genocide victims at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial

Catholicos Karekin II visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial on Thursday morning to commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide. 

“Today we commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide,” he told reporters. “We commemorate the pain in our heart of the genocidal actions committed against the children of our nation in Artsakh, the losses of Artsakh.”

The Armenian Church leader said he prayed to God’s support to the Armenian people, “to transform the pain and suffering into strength, overcome the existing difficulties in our life and develop our homeland with many new realizations, build our people’s bright and luminous life.”
