Armenian, Iranian customs officials discuss border crossing procedures

Armenian customs officials held a meeting at the Agarak border crossing point with the staff of the Iranian Norduz border crossing point. 

Representatives of the Armenian National Security Service Border Guards and the Iranian Consul-General in Syunik were also present at the meeting. 

The State Revenue Committee said in a press release that the sides discussed issues pertaining to the normal operations of the border crossing point. 

The course of proper organization of all phases of the border crossing process, as well as the peculiarities of the entry and exit procedures of the border crossing point were also discussed. The work aimed at increasing the efficiency of the customs functions and control were also discussed.
