Yerevan, Naples plan to sign cooperation agreement

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan has met with Alessandro Ferranti, Italy’s Ambassador to Armenia.
Avinyan congratulated Ferranti on assuming office and wished him success, the City Hall said in a press release.
Speaking about the agenda of bilateral relations between Yerevan and Italian cities, Avinyan attached importance to the 2024 cooperation agreement signed between Yerevan and Rome. He said the document created new platform for partnership in city management.
Yerevan and Naples also plan to sign a Friendship and Cooperation Agreement soon, City Hall said.
Ambassador Ferranti thanked for the warm reception and readiness to expand partnership, highlighting the tourism potential between the two countries. He said he would support new joint projects.
