Chinese Foreign Minister meets Putin and Lavrov in Moscow

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Moscow on an official visit, where he was received by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Chinese FM Wang Yi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held talks.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Putin welcomed Wang Yi’s visit, highly valued Russian-Chinese relations, and expressed readiness to expand the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation with China.

 The two foreign ministers discussed the schedule of high-level bilateral contacts and various aspects of cooperation. They also exchanged views on prospects for resolving the situation in Ukraine.
