Armenian Ambassador, French legislator discuss defense cooperation

Armenian Ambassador to France Arman Khachatryan has met with Jean-Michel Jacques, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the French National Assembly’s National Defence and Armed Forces Committee.

Ambassador Khachatryan briefed the French legislator on the latest regional developments, highlighting the finalization of the text of the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement and Yerevan’s continuous efforts for achieving lasting peace, the embassy said in a readout.

During the meeting the officials also discussed a broad circle of issues pertaining to the prospects of deepening the interparliamentary and defense cooperation between Armenia and France.
