Armenian and Iranian FMs discuss construction of a new bridge over Araks River

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has announced that the issue of building a new bridge over the Araks River was discussed during his meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

At a joint press conference with Mirzoyan in Yerevan, Araghchi stated that Tehran and Yerevan are ready to create conditions for transit cargo transportation, facilitating their cooperation.

“To facilitate cargo transportation, we also had a great discussion on building a new bridge over the Araks River,” the Iranian Foreign Minister stated.
