2,6 magnitude earthquake hits Armenia’s north

A 2,6 magnitude earthquake has hit 8km north of the town of Spitak in Armenia’s Lori province, authorities said.
According to a statement released by the seismic protection service of the interior ministry, the quake had a depth of 10km and was detected at 15:37 on March 24. It measured 3-4 on the MSK scale in the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt at an intensity of 3 MSK in Spitak and elsewhere in the Lori province.
