Armenian Prime Minister congratulates new Canadian counterpart on taking office

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on his appointment. 

“I cordially congratulate you on your appointment as Prime Minister of Canada,” PM Pashinyan said in a letter sent to Carney. “The traditionally friendly relationship between the Republic of Armenia and Canada has developed in an atmosphere of mutual-understanding, mutual respect and mutual cooperation. Armenia highly values the rapidly developing bilateral relationship. I am sure that through joint efforts and close partnership between our governments we will succeed in fully utilizing the significant potential in the bilateral agenda of our countries, deepen and enhance cooperation in economic, high-tech, scientific-educational and other areas for the welfare of our peoples. Taking the occasion I’d like to express my readiness to work with you in all directions of the Armenia-Canada bilateral agenda. I wish you robust health and new successes, and to the friendly people of Canada welfare and peace.”
