Armenian PM speaks by phone with Putin

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke by phone on Friday with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Prime Minister informed President Putin on the finalization of the draft text of the “Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan” and completion of the negotiations around finalizing the draft text, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout.

Other matters pertaining to regional and bilateral relations were also discussed, the Prime Minister’s Office said.

 

The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the draft peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The date and location of signing the agreement are yet to be determined.
