Georgia has welcomed the conclusion of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the peace treaty, describing it as a ‘historic’ development.
"Georgia welcomes the conclusion of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan on all 17 articles of the Peace Agreement. A historic step toward lasting peace and stability in the region,” the Georgian foreign ministry said in a post on X.
The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The date and location of signing the agreement is yet to be determined.
