Latvian FM congratulates Armenia, Azerbaijan on finalizing peace talks

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Baiba Braže has congratulated Armenia and Azerbaijan on finalizing the negotiations around the peace treaty.

“Congratulations to our good friends Azerbaijan and Armenia on reaching an agreement on the text of the Peace Agreement - an important step towards lasting peace and stability in the region,” FM Braže said in a post on X.

The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The date and location of signing the agreement is yet to be determined.
