Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople (Istanbul) Archbishop Sahag II Mashalian has arrived in Armenia, the Armenian Church announced Saturday.
Sahak II was welcomed by Catholicos Karekin II at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on March 8, where they held a private meeting.
The Mother See said in a press release that Sahag II will participate in the upcoming Supreme Spiritual Council assembly.
