Iran rules out ‘direct talks’ with US over nuclear issue

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said his country won’t agree to direct nuclear talks with the US while President Donald Trump imposes his so-called maximum pressure policy on the Islamic Republic. “There will be no possibility of direct talks between us and the United States on the nuclear issue as long as the maximum pressure is applied in this way,” Araghchi says during a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
