Armenian Speaker of Parliament holds phone call with Russian top senator

Armenian Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan spoke by phone on Tuesday with Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. 

According to a readout issued by the Armenian parliament’s press service, the sides discussed issues pertaining to the agenda of the Armenian-Russian relations, as well as cooperation in the CIS IPA and other platforms. 

Organizational issues of Matviyenko’s planned official visit to Armenia were also discussed.
