The United States has refused to endorse the anti-Russian draft resolution on Ukraine presented at the UN General Assembly. Ambassador Dorothy Shea, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim, stated, "We cannot support the resolution on Ukraine and urge its withdrawal."
The resolution calls on Moscow to immediately, fully, and unconditionally withdraw all of its armed forces from Ukrainian territory and unilaterally halt hostilities.
The draft is authored by the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, Poland, the Baltic States, and several other countries.
