Karen Khachanov celebrates successful start at Dubai tournament

Russian tennis player of Armenian origin Karen Khachanov has started the Dubai ATP-500 tournament with a victory.

 In the first round of the tournament in the UAE, Khachanov faced British player Daniel Evans. The match lasted about 1.5 hours, with Khachanov winning in two sets, 6-1, 6-3.

Karen Khachanov is ranked No. 24 in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings.
