Mobile ID to be accessible to foreign nationals in Armenia amid expanding e-services

The Armenian government plans to enable foreign citizens and residence permit holders to obtain Mobile ID and use public e-services. 

Under current regulations only Armenian citizens can obtain Mobile ID. 

The changes will be made due to the expanding e-services and make it accessible to foreign nationals. 

Foreign nationals, as well as persons with residency permits, will be able to obtain Mobile ID by undergoing an identification process at the Migration and Citizenship Service during an in-person visit.
