New venture capital funds will soon enter Armenia, Vice Speaker of Parliament Hakob Arshakyan has said.
Arshakyan spoke to reporters after the annual congress of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises on Wednesday.
“In terms of the investments environment we have a rather good and appealing investment environment in the startup community,” he said, adding that the government is working to further improve legislative mechanisms.
“Soon you will see the entry of new venture funds and new mass solution programs into Armenia,” Arshakyan added.
He said new institutional mechanisms pertaining to education, science and industry in the public-private sector cooperation will be discussed at the UATE board meeting on February 26.
