Yerevan City Hall officials arrested in anti-corruption investigation

Yerevan City Hall officials have been arrested as part of an anti-corruption investigation, authorities said Wednesday.

“The investigative actions are carried out within the framework of proceedings in the Anti-Corruption Committee, officials from Yerevan City Hall have been arrested,” the Anti-Corruption Committee told Armenpress without elaborating. 

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan’s spokesperson Hayk Kostanyan had earlier confirmed that City Hall officials have been arrested.
