Hungary will not leave the European Union but will actively participate in debates about the community's future, stated Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Debate.
"We are a member of the European Union, and we will remain so," he added, emphasizing Hungary’s intention to engage in discussions about the EU’s future direction.
Szijjártó also criticized the EU for imposing sanctions and exerting pressure on Hungary. He further stressed the importance of taking all possible measures to end illegal migration.
