Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Friday that a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump is not scheduled during his upcoming visit to the U.S.
Pashinyan is scheduled to visit the U.S. in early February for the 5th annual International Religious Freedom Summit in Washington, D.C. He will participate in the National Prayer Breakfast and deliver a speech.
“A meeting with the U.S. President is not planned. At this moment we don’t have that in our program, but this is a very important visit. We consulted with our colleagues and concluded that we must definitely go and participate,” Pashinyan said.
Invitations to other events are currently under consideration, he added.
