President Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulates newly elected President of Lebanon

YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan has sent a congratulatory message to Joseph Aoun on his election as President of the Republic of Lebanon.

According to the Presidential Office, the message reads as follows:

"Armenia attaches great importance to further strengthening relations with our brotherly Lebanon, based on the centuries-old friendship, mutual respect, and cultural similarities between our peoples, as well as the development of active political dialogue.

I am confident that through our joint efforts, we will continue to expand cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.''
