Defense Minister visits new recruits

YEREVAN, JANUARY 7, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan has visited new conscripts at the central conscription center of the Ministry of Defense on the occasion of the regular winter conscription for mandatory military service.

Lt. general Edward Asryan, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, as well as other top military officials accompanied the minister on the visit.

Minister Papikyan inspected the conscription process and spoke with the new recruits, wishing them safe service.
