Armenia’s Avanesyan defeats China’s Wang at Hobart International

YEREVAN, JANUARY 6, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Elina Avanesyan won her first WTA Hobart International 2025 match on January 5 against China’s Xiyu Wang. 

The match lasted an hour and 35 minutes. Avanesyan won the third round of women’s singles in two sets 6:3, 7:5. 

Avanesyan will face Belgium’s Greet Minnen in the quarter finals.
