Former Deputy Chief of General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces Tiran Khachatryan arrested

YEREVAN, JANUARY 4, ARMENPRESS. Former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Tiran Khachatryan, has been arrested.

According to Khachatryan’s defense team, he is facing charges related to military negligence during martial law, which he denies. The charges pertain to specific circumstances of the 44-day war.

Khachatryan's detention hearing is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
