Economic activity grows 7,4%

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The economic activity index in January-November 2024 increased 7,4% compared to the index of the same period of 2023, according to the Statistical Committee.

Below is the YoY data for January-November 2024.  

Industrial production output grew 7,6% and amounted to over 2,6 trillion drams. 

Construction increased 14,9%, amounting to over 567 trillion drams. 

Trade turnover grew 18% and stood at 5,6 trillion drams. 

Services (excluding trade) grew 6,3%, amounting to over 3,6 trillion drams.

The consumer price index grew 0,2%. 

The industrial product price index grew 3,4%.

Electricity production grew 4,5%, amounting to nearly 8 trillion kW h. (The figure doesn’t include the electricity production by autonomous producers).
