Turkey follows normalization process between Yerevan and Baku - Erdogan

 YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the situation in the South Caucasus and other international issues during a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the Turkish presidential office, the leaders discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, as well as regional and global developments. Erdogan emphasized that he is closely following the progress of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

"Turkey expects that the signing of a peace treaty will bring stability and prosperity to the South Caucasus," TASS quoted him as saying.
