Sports journalists vote to determine top athletes of 2024

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. The annual yearend vote has revealed the best athletes of 2024.

Sports journalists voted to determine the top athletes in various categories.

The top three athletes of the year, according to the results, are Varazdat Lalayan, Artur Davtyan and Artur Aleksanyan.

Alexandra Grigoryan was named Best Woman Athlete. 

Greta Vardanyan was named Best Athlete with Disability.

The Men’s Chess Team was named the Best Team.

Emma Poghosyan was named Best Young Athlete. 

Hripsime Khurshudyan won in the Return to Big Sports category.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was recognized for best promoting the Republic of Armenia globally.

Hakob Serobyan was named Best Coach.

The voting was organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.
