Armenian Security Council Secretary meets with UAE presidential advisor

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. In January-October 2024 the trade turnover between Armenia and the UAE amounted to 4,8 billion dollars, Secretary of Security Council Armen Grigoryan said during a meeting with Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the United Arab Emirates president. 

The sides discussed bilateral relations and were pleased to note the development of economic ties, as well as intensified cooperation in various areas, especially in trade and tourism, Grigoryan’s office said in a readout.

Grigoryan and Gargash also exchanged views around the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project and attached importance to the cooperation of the two countries as part of the project.
