Deputy Speaker presents Crossroads of Peace to diplomatic advisor of UAE president

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan held a meeting on December 17 with Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the United Arab Emirates president.
Rubinyan said that the UAE is an important and reliable partner for Armenia. He highly appreciated the partnership and noted that Armenia is determined to further deepen the cooperation both in traditional areas, as well as new directions.
He described the mutual lifting of visa requirements as an important achievement.
Rubinyan spoke about the Armenia-Turkiye normalization process, the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and presented the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project.
Both sides attached importance to cooperation in the parliamentary format. The sides exchanged ideas over development of partnership in high technologies, education, trade, tourism and other areas.
