PM Pashinyan pays homage to victims of 1988 earthquake

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the 7 December 1988 earthquake.
PM Pashinyan placed wreaths and flowers at the memorials to the earthquake victims in Vanadzor and Spitak on the anniversary of the disaster.
The 7 December 1988 earthquake killed 25,000 people and left half a million others homeless across Armenia. 50,000 people became disabled after suffering injuries. Multiple towns and villages were destroyed in the magnitude 6,8 earthquake.
