PM Pashinyan introduces Eduard Hakobyan as Chairman of State Revenue Committee

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan introduced the newly appointed Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Eduard Hakobyan, to the staff of the committee.

According to the Prime Minister’s office, Pashinyan began by thanking the former Chairman, Rustam Badasyan, for his work in the position. He noted that during Badasyan's tenure, significant changes occurred within the State Revenue Committee, including improvements in its working style and procedures, marking an important milestone in the overall reform agenda.

The Prime Minister congratulated Eduard Hakobyan and wished him success in his new role as Chairman of the State Revenue Committee. Pashinyan expressed confidence that the continuity of the ongoing processes would be ensured.

In his remarks, Rustam Badasyan thanked the Prime Minister for entrusting him with the position over the past years. He emphasized that the system had made significant progress in recent years in digitizing tax and customs services, making them more accessible to taxpayers, and reducing lengthy bureaucratic processes in the customs system, which aided in preventing corruption.

Eduard Hakobyan, in turn, thanked the Prime Minister for his trust.
