The bill on ratifying the agreement passed parliament with 95 votes in favor.

Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan had said that an interim free trade deal signed between EEU and Iran in 2019, which was the basis for signing the new agreement, had boosted trade between the member states of the EEU and Iran from 2,4 billion dollars to 5,2 billion dollars.
